Sam Kinison: Sometimes a photographer just has to be ready for anything. In anticipation of Kinison’s rumored lack of reliability, the three ladies and the dog were shot on a white syc, and when Sam finally showed up 24 hours later, the two images were merged, long before the advent of Photoshop in 1985. Sam was a pleasure to work with, and I loved his truthful and honest humor, he lived a full but far too short a life.
